Francisco Silva Noelli, Brazilian archaeologist, is a researcher at the Center for Archaeology/UNIARQ and a PhD student at the University of Lisbon (2019- ), FCT scholarship holder. He is also a researcher affiliated with LEVOC/MAE—USP and the Laboratory of Archaeology, Ethnology, and Ethno-History of the State University of Maringá. He was a professor at the State University of Maringá and has experience in Archaeology, Historical Archaeology, and Subaquatic Archaeology, with several publications. He is a visiting researcher at UMass-Boston (2022-2024), the New England Indigenous Archaeological Lab, and the Latin American Historical Archaeology Lab. Currently, he is researching the history of contemporary Indigenous communities in São Paulo, descendants of the Tupiniquim, with a focus on territoriality and food sovereignty.
